Lakers place 2nd


The Indian Lake Lakers 12-and-under travel baseball team, sponsored by Robinsons Asphalt, placed second at the Midwest All-Star Championship tournament in Bellefontaine. The Lakers took the #1 seed in the tournament after defeating Sidney 3-2 and Graham 9-3 during pool play. They rallied to beat Sidney 10-7 on the second day to earn a spot in the championship game. Middle Point was able to top Indian Lake 8-3 to take first place. Players for the Lakers are, front from left, Brandon Villa, Reid Vance Lukas Wisener, Devin Thompson, back from left, Kyle Faulder, Caden Hyder, Darrick Curtis, Caden Whitman, Rees is Brelynn Wisener.
