A free public service meeting mainly targeting the churches of Logan County will be held at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Auditorium, 2280 St. Rt. 540 Bellefontaine, Ohio at 7:00 p.m. on May 10th.
The speakers will address the importance of developing & implementing emergency plans & procedures to protect people and property.
Question, if you are at church, or any other public place and a dangerous situation suddenly develops, will there be people present who are prepared to act in order to save lives and minimize damage?
Apathy Can Kill You! Well thought out emergency response plans & trained personnel are important tools that should not be ignored.
Our first speaker, Helen Norris, the current Logan County Emergency Manager Director will speak to us about preparing for and dealing with natural disasters in ways that minimize harm to people and property.
Our second speaker, Jonathan Havens, the security manager for Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church, in Columbus, will address the Y’s & how-2’s of preparing for and dealing with man-made disasters.
Jonathan has 21 plus years of experience providing personal protection and overseeing security for people and buildings, he is a go-to consultant for numerous houses of worship in Columbus.
