Annual holiday event full of gifts, goodies, food

Carter Grube, a kindergarten student at Indian Lake Elementary School, receives an armful of Christmas gifts from Santa and Mrs. Claus on Dec. 12. Hundreds of people filed into St. Mary of the Woods Hall in Russells Point for the 30th annual Friends Serving Friends Community Christmas Dinner. Santa, Mrs. Claus and the toy room elves made sure there were tons of goodies to hand out to all the children. The Take 5 Band provided the music, and the dedicated kitchen volunteers provided a hot holiday meal.
