Taking the ‘Plunge’ for Special Olympics

Indian Lake High School Key Club members Nate Reichert and Amber Seeley dash though frigid waters during the Indian Lake Polar Plunge. Club members braved the freezing water to support Special Olympics. Key Club President Amber Seeley alone raised $125 for the March 9 Special Olympics of Ohio 2019 Indian Lake Polar Plunge. The other students who participated were Cole Overbey, Nate Reichert, Kason Carruthers, Kassidy Crockett and Mackenzie Garver. In total the club raised almost $400 to support Ohio Special Olympics. Overall, the event raised nearly $3,000. Prior to the plunge, fire and rescue officials had to break up ice so plungers could enter the water!
