The Indian Lake Local School District Board of Education took the following actions during the Feb. 19 regular meeting:
Accepted the donation of $500 to the Joshua Keith Scholarship Fund.
Approved Substitute Employee List dated February 11, 2019 as recommended by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, appointed Board Member Scott Staley to the Russells Point Park and Recreation Board and established it as a Board of Education Standing Committee, and approved a $500 stipend with funds from Title IVA to Pam Scarpella for the 2018-19 school year to serve as the PBIS District Coordinator.
Adopted a resolution in accordance with Sen. Bill 216 that amends Ohio Revised Code Section 3301.0711(G)(4) permitting the district to administer the third-grade English Language Arts assessments in paper format for the 2019-20 school year.
The next board meeting will be March 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the board office, 6210 N. state Route 235, Lewistown.
