The Logan County Retired Teachers met on Dec. 13 at the Transportation Museum at the Logan County Historical Center. The luncheon was catered by the Plaza Inn. The West Liberty-Salem School’s show choir entertained the group with several numbers.
The program was presented by member Pat Ortli. Pat discussed the songs, Jingle Bells and Silent Night. She told the group about the writers and how the songs became classics.
President Emerson Brown led a short meeting at which the 2019 officers were elected. They are: president- Emerson Brown, vice president- Bill Davis, secretary- Carol Hartley and treasurer- Pat Holt. New member, Art Stormer was welcomed to the group. After the meeting some members met to plan for 2019.
