A brand new event and tradition will be established this weekend at Indian Lake. The Indian Lake Christmas Golf Cart Parade will kick off this Saturday at 5 p.m.

Cart line-up begins at 4 p.m. at Golf Cart World, 315 E. Main St., in downtown Russells Point. Start decorating your golf cart because prizes will be awarded for the most festive golf carts.

Will an “ugly Christmas sweater” cart win or perhaps a Santa/ reindeer cart? Who knows, but it should be a lot of fun for participates and for those watching the parade.

Carts will be judged at the 5 p.m. starting time once all carts are lined up.

The parade route will proceed through Russells Point and finish back at Golf Cart World.

All carts must be registered to be in the parade, but there is no entry fee to participate. The event is being sponsored by Golf Cart World of Russells Point.
