FFA students install feature at admin building

The Riverside/OHP FFA students installed a hardscape feature at Riverside High School’s new administration building. FFA students in the Greenhouse Nursery class have been learning about aspects of the horticulture industry, including hardscapes in landscaping. For this project FFA members learned about calculating square footage, supplies, estimating cost and prepping the site for installation. The landscaping project included was adding brick pavers as an edging for the rock mulch and students’ lattice on the sides of the steps and the handicap ramp leading to the building. Pictured are, front row from left, Andrew Reisinger, Alex Cruz, Devin Stevens, Kyle Robision, Rj McGowen, Angela Walter, Katrina Craig, Rebecca Snow, Damien Slaven, back row from left, Brendan Duff, Zach Feasel and Mason Sacks.
