Indian Lake High School’s Seniors of the Month for November are Lindsay Berg and Colin Powers. Here are their comments.

Lindsay Berg

Parents: Pete and Kathy Berg

School Activities and Awards: Business Professionals of America President, Key Club Secretary, Student Council Member, SADD, Science Club, Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Swimming and West Point Leadership Award

If I were principal for a day: The whole school would play laser tag and there would be pizza and ice cream for lunch.

Favorite High School Memory: My favorite memory was getting back the time capsules we made in 8th grade. It was cool to look back at all of those memories. Mrs. Rapp helped to make mine unforgettable.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My teachers and my friends inspire me.

Lately I’ve been reading: The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

My advice to parents: My advice is to always support your kids, no matter what.

My Biggest Regret: I regret not being more involved in school activities.

Next Year I Will Be: attending college to obtain a degree in Business

Colin Powers

If I were principal for the day: I would let all staff and students go home early.

Favorite School Memory: My favorite school memory was performing in the musical “Godspell” my sophomore year.

People who have been an inspiration to me: People who have inspired me include my mom and dad and singer/songwriter Dave Matthews.

Lately I’ve been reading:The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

My advice to parents: My advice to parents is to encourage your children to get involved in sports and extracurricular activities.

My Biggest Regret: I regret not getting to know more people in school.

Next Year I will be: attending a four-year university majoring in City and Regional Planning
