Hundreds of little Lakers were recognized this quarter for good behavior. In fact, during the first Laker Zone assembly of the year, the Zone Busters announced that more than 760 Laker Zone cards were given out!

The Laker Zone is a long-time grant program that encourages students to help others, resist bullying and be hard workers in the classroom. One person per class was awarded a Laker Zone shirt for being “in the zone” for the first 9 weeks.

Students receiving T-shirts were:

Kindergarten -Adeline Vermillion, Charlie Howell, Hailee Schoenberger, Kason Taylor, Ella Stubbleton, Jaxon Butler and Jonathan Sweeney

1st Grade – Kynlee Owens, Kayla Lazo, Mariea Lewis, Graham Buchenroth, Reese Imm and Mia Hawkins

2nd Grade – Chloe Stackler, Lux Kipker, Isaiah Bayless, Alex Tussing, Leah Cole and Olive Butler,

3rd Grade -Anara Shroyer, Kylee Harford, Lilly Hines, Evelyn Knabe, Kaylee Snow, Hunter Stewart and Brittini Singer

4th Grade – Holden Wallace, Adelyn Oldiges, Vedder Slagle, Grace Johnson, Kaylyn Crisp, Tristan Taylor and Colton Schellenbaum

Bus – Kaiden Lacher, Charles Bickham, Stagger Davis, Hosanna Brooks and Erin Smith

214 students were also recognized for perfect attendance the first 9 weeks of school. Two lucky students, 3rd grader Colton Burden and kindergartner Haygin Clem both won bicycles.
