Logan County Retired Teachers met in August, for the third meeting of the year, at the Friendly Senior Citizens Center in Bellefontaine for a delicious noon meal. Allen Hadley led the center’s Millennium Melodaires for the group’s entertainment. Several of the retired teachers are in this group.

The speaker for the program was Paul Benedetti, CEO, Logan County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Benedetti shared a power point presentation on Ohio’s 33Smart Mobility Corridor which is coming to our area. He wanted the group to be aware of what it is and know what to expect. The members appreciated the details of this corridor they have heard and read about.

President Emerson Brown held a short meeting for the group. The next meeting is October 23, 2018 at noon at The First Church of God in West Liberty. The program will be Amy Cates from the Ohio Consumer Council. Any retired educator is welcome and you can find out more information by calling Emerson Brown at 937 404 9453. The chapter has a Facebook page under Logan County Retired Teachers.
