Indian Lake Middle School officially welcomed new students with a breakfast just for them.

Co-Principals Mrs. Mefford and Mrs. Miller, along with Guidance Counselor Mandy Tidwell, hosted the event in the ILMS Media Center. Students had a chance to mingle with other new students and ask questions about activities, rules and programs.

Tidwell says with 36 new students enrolled at ILMS for the 2018-19 school year, she thought it was important that everyone feels like a Laker.

“We want you all to know you can stop by the office any time. We can help with any issue and even hook you up with students that have similar interests.”

Each new student left the breakfast with Progressbook login information and a brand new Laker T-shirt.
