Encouraging words aimed at girls

A group of Indian Lake High School teachers are reminding girls of their worth when they visit school restrooms. Amber Shively, Jesse Tussing, Blythe Moorhouse and Krystal Loy painted encouraging quotes over the mirrors in several girls restrooms over the summer. Shively explains, “The other teachers and I saw some pictures on Facebook of other schools doing this on their restroom stall doors. We really liked the idea and each found a quote to paint.” The group hopes these words of encouragement can help high school girls better support each other and have positive self-images.
