The Indian Lake Senior Class of 2018 took a final stroll down the hallways of Indian Lake Middle and Elementary schools. Students from kindergarten on up clapped out and cheered on the soon-to-be graduates.

Indian Lake started this Senior Salute Clap Out last year as a way for seniors to say a final goodbye to the teachers and facilities that helped build them into the people they are today. It’s also an opportunity for younger students to say farewell to role models and understand that with hard work, they will graduate someday, too!

Amid the shouts and high-fives were some hugs and even a few tears. Indian Lake holds commencement ceremonies for the class of 2018 on Sunday, May 20th at 2 pm.
