Indian Lake High School/Ohio Hi Point FFA students brought home several awards from the state FFA Convention recently.

In their first time ever competing, freshman Allix Cotterman and sophomore Nikita Scheifele (pronounced Sheff-lee) earned second place in the Ohio FFA State Agriscience Competition. They were recognized on stage in front of over 4,000 students and guests. The students spent countless hours studying which type of food goldfish preferred, writing a report that was selected for state and then presenting to a panel of judges.

Meantime, senior Skylr Timbrook and Melanie Watkins were presented with their state FFA Degrees. Tanner Schoen (pronounced Shane) is the ag educator and FFA advisor at Indian Lake.
