Village Solicitor Matthew Chamberlain told council that he is working on the new tax ordinance for the village. It needs to be in place by January 1st. He also told Council that he has been working with the Methodist Church on a petition to vacate an alley that currently runs behind the church. He continues to work on the survey for the school property which continues to have minor setbacks but they work them out as they come up.
Mr. Chamberlain told Council that he was approached by Commissioner Dustin Wickerham about building inspections in the Village of Huntsville.
