Join the Easter Bunny, Pastor Ben Beres and the Huntsville Presbyterian Church family for a morning of fun on Saturday, March 24, at 11 a.m. in the Huntsville Lions Park. There will be two egg hunt – one for toddlers up to age 4 and another for children 5 years old and up. More than 1,500 stuffed eggs to find! There will be refreshments served and a short “Children’s Chat” about the true meaning of the Easter Season.

Miami Grange in DeGraff will host the first pancake and sausage breakfast for 2018 on Saturday, March 17, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

The Community Blood Center will hold a blood drive 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the Indian Lake High School auxiliary gym, 6210 N. state Route 235, Lewistown.

The Community Blood Center will hold a blood drive noon-4 p.m. Friday, March 23, at the Logan County Discovery Center, 1973 W. state Route 47, Bellefontaine.

West Liberty-Salem High School will present “Once Upon A Mattress” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (March 22-24) at 7 p.m. in the high school cafetorium. There will also be a Saturday, March 24, matinee at 1 pm. All seats are $8 and may be purchased in the high school office during school hours and at the door before each show.

The 7th annual “Health Awareness 5K Mardi Gras Walk: Diabetes Prevention” will be held Saturday, April 21, at 9 a.m., with a warm-up at 8:45 a.m., at Southview Park in Bellefontaine. The walk is free and no prior registration is necessary. Free T-shirt to walkers while supply lasts. Beads will be given for each lap completed. Walk music provided by DJ Joe Pine. Sign up to donate blood for the Indian Lake High School National Honor Society Annual Blood Drive. Receive a free shirt when you show up to donate. This spring’s blood drive will be held March 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If your blood is used, they will give you a call and let you now when and where. This event is open to the public, however you must sign up at www.donortime.com. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Green Hills Community, 6557 S. U.S. 68, continues its Live Life Better speaker series with a session about living with someone who has dementia. From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, learn the story of Joe Stewart, who was a caregiver for three family members with dementia. He is a board member for the Miami Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Need a tax form from the IRS or State of Ohio or RITA or one of the other forms? Using your Library card, log on to Computer Express 15 and automatically opens to a page with tabs for all of the tax websites. Select the tab you need. Find the form you need. Send to the Print Release Station. Pay 20 cents per page. Release the print job. Pick up the form at the printer station. Questions? Ask a Reference Assistant. Indian Lake Schools is teaming up with the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District and Mary Rutan Hospital to offer a Winter Walking Program for the public at Indian Lake High School. The program will be open Monday through Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. January through March. Winter Walking will not take place on nights of scheduled home basketball contests or any day that school is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Women who have experienced infertility or miscarriage, are undergoing fertility treatments, or are considering adoption are invited to a monthly support group that meets at Memorial Hospital. HOPE, an independent, peer-led, female-only support group provides an opportunity to share information, discuss sensitive issues, or just listen to others. Meetings are confidential, unbiased and planned to provide support and comfort. The Food Pantry of Wake Up the World Ministries is open the last Friday of each month from 4 to 6 p.m. to individuals and families in Logan County needing food and who qualify under the Second Harvest Food Bank criteria. The church is at the former Northeastern Elementary, 600 Brown Ave., Bellefontaine. Qualified individuals and families can secure three days of food, including veggies, meats and canned goods, by entering the church’s back entrance. Overeaters Anonymous meets at 10 a.m. each Monday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1505 S. Main St., in Bellefontaine. This meeting is open to anyone who wants to stop eating compulsively. The Logan County Art League holds an Open Studio 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd, 3rd and 4rh Monday of each month so people can bring in their visual arts projects to work on among like-minded artists. Try new things, gain direction, get encouragement and explore. It will be a safe place to share ideas and get inspiration. It is open to anyone in the arts, at any level, and in any media. There will be several experienced artists on hand to help, so beginners are welcome. Just bring your project and your supplies and join us. There is no cost.

Logan/Champaign Counties Survivor of Suicide (SOS) Support Group for those bereaved by suicide will meet 6:30-8 p.m. the 2nd Thursday of each month at the MHDAS Board, 123 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, with topics and events planned for each month.

The Indian Lake United Christian Services Food Pantry at the Municipal Building, 433 state Route 708, Russells Point, offers food assistance to all residents of the Indian Lake School District on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month. The Food Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers and operates solely with donated funds and food.

The Logan County Health District is offering flu shots for all ages during the regular Immunization Clinics every Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. and the 1st Thursday of the month from 2 to 6 p.m. Most insurances are accepted.

TB testing is done 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4 p.m.on Mondays and Tuesdays. The charge is $20 cash, or check with ID. Most Ohio Medicaid plans are accepted.
