Indian Lake Elementary School wrapped up Read Across America Week in honor of Dr. Seuss with a schedule of “celebrity” readers March 3. Local clergy, school board members, business owners and Superintendent Underwood shared their favorite children’s books and Dr. Seuss classics. Educators said it was a fun week of dressing up, meeting new friends and finding ways to appreciate the joy and skill of reading.
