The Logan County Land Trust (LCLT) will hold the annual meeting on Tuesday, March 6, at 6 p.m. at the Mary Rutan Hospital Urgent Care & Medical Building, located at the intersection of U.S. Route 68/Main Street and state Route 33. Light refreshments will be served at 5:45 p.m. before the meeting.
The Trust will report on the success in permanently preserving farmland in Logan County. Current members will elect directors for a three-year term ending 2021. Nominations may be made from the floor. Directors serve as volunteers and shall be current members of the Trust.
The annual meeting will begin with a presentation and short tour of the new state-of-the-art Mary Rutan Hospital Urgent Care & Medical Building.
Immediately following the tour will be a welcome to those attending, then a short business meeting. Time will be allotted for a Question & Answer session.
Annual dues are $10 for individuals and family and $100 for businesses. An individual or family may also opt to join for $60, $50 of which is a tax-deductible contribution to the LCLT.
The LCLT is a Certified Local Sponsor of the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Local Agricultural Easement Purchase Program (LAEPP) and the USDA-NRCS Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP).
