The Indian Lake High School Music Department will present SHREK THE MUSICAL at 8 p.m. Friday, March 2, and Saturday, March 3, in the Wilma Jacobs Performing Arts Auditorium. All seats are $8. The musical version of the Dreamworks Animation Motion Picture is directed and choreographed by Rebecca Taylor, with assistance from Joyce King, Jason Fauley, Ed Rogers, Tracey Notestine and Pamela Thayer. The cast features junior Jacob Zarnosky as Shrek, senior Cameron Daniels as Donkey, junior Belle Elliott as Princess Fiona and junior Colin Powers as Lord Farquaad. Create a Hypertufa Pot at the Knowlton Library on Saturday, March 10, at 10 a.m. Hypertufa is a lightweight, stone-like material made from Portland Cement, peat moss, and perlite or vermiculite. Planters and decorative items made from hypertufa resemble carved rock. Adult 18+ only. All supplies will be provided for this free event. Little girls who attend Indian Lake Elementary School are invited to dress up and get down during the 5th annual ILES Father/Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the ILES gym and cafeteria. The Junior Class hosts the event as a fundraiser for the prom. This year’s theme is Disney’s Princesses. Organizers say the dance is special because young ladies are able to share a date with their dad, grandad, step-father or uncle, that includes dancing, crafts and snacks.

Need a tax form from the IRS or State of Ohio or RITA or one of the other forms? Using your Library card, log on to Computer Express 15 and automatically opens to a page with tabs for all of the tax websites. Select the tab you need. Find the form you need. Send to the Print Release Station. Pay 20 cents per page. Release the print job. Pick up the form at the printer station. Questions? Ask a Reference Assistant. Indian Lake Schools is teaming up with the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District and Mary Rutan Hospital to offer a Winter Walking Program for the public at Indian Lake High School. The program will be open Monday through Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. January through March. Winter Walking will not take place on nights of scheduled home basketball contests or any day that school is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Women who have experienced infertility or miscarriage, are undergoing fertility treatments, or are considering adoption are invited to a monthly support group that meets at Memorial Hospital. HOPE, an independent, peer-led, female-only support group provides an opportunity to share information, discuss sensitive issues, or just listen to others. Meetings are confidential, unbiased and planned to provide support and comfort. The Food Pantry of Wake Up the World Ministries is open the last Friday of each month from 4 to 6 p.m. to individuals and families in Logan County needing food and who qualify under the Second Harvest Food Bank criteria. The church is at the former Northeastern Elementary, 600 Brown Ave., Bellefontaine. Qualified individuals and families can secure three days of food, including veggies, meats and canned goods, by entering the church’s back entrance. Overeaters Anonymous meets at 10 a.m. each Monday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1505 S. Main St., in Bellefontaine. This meeting is open to anyone who wants to stop eating compulsively. The Logan County Art League holds an Open Studio 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd, 3rd and 4rh Monday of each month so people can bring in their visual arts projects to work on among like-minded artists. Try new things, gain direction, get encouragement and explore. It will be a safe place to share ideas and get inspiration. It is open to anyone in the arts, at any level, and in any media. There will be several experienced artists on hand to help, so beginners are welcome. Just bring your project and your supplies and join us. There is no cost.

Logan/Champaign Counties Survivor of Suicide (SOS) Support Group for those bereaved by suicide will meet 6:30-8 p.m. the 2nd Thursday of each month at the MHDAS Board, 123 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, with topics and events planned for each month.

The Indian Lake United Christian Services Food Pantry at the Municipal Building, 433 state Route 708, Russells Point, offers food assistance to all residents of the Indian Lake School District on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month. The Food Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers and operates solely with donated funds and food.

The Logan County Health District is offering flu shots for all ages during the regular Immunization Clinics every Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. and the 1st Thursday of the month from 2 to 6 p.m. Most insurances are accepted.

TB testing is done 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4 p.m.on Mondays and Tuesdays. The charge is $20 cash, or check with ID. Most Ohio Medicaid plans are accepted.
