Logan County Health District issues 2016 annual report

In 2016 monitoring of the following were vital in keeping the community a safer place:

*water borne disease like the cryptosporidium outbreak,

*any number of drinking water illnesses,

*schools and industries might have closed from flu and Noro gastroenteritis outbreaks,

*the whole county might have shut down from a Norwegian scabies epidemic

*measles, mumps, chickenpox, Ebola, or Zika epidemics would have been spread much wider.

The Logan County Health District Advisory Council met on March 23, 2017.

The health district Annual Report is now available for public review at www.loganhealth.org

The report includes statistical data trends in public and environmental health.
