Indian Lake student councils spearhead food drive

Indian Lake middle and high school Student Council members empty two of seven vehicles full of non-perishable items at the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Russells Point on Nov. 21. Council members carried in nearly 5,000 cans of non-perishables. The seven van-loads of food were the result a week-long annual food drive at all three Indian Lake School buildings ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. St. Vincent de Paul is part of the Second Harvest Food Pantry network in west central Ohio.
