It’s a big check for a big amount of money coming to United Way of Logan County from Honda of America: $179,362 to be exact. That’s from associates who live in our community and a 50 percent corporate match. By far and away, United Way’s top local workplace campaign, Honda’s contributions represent a whopping 2 percent of the $750,000 campaign goal. Fifty-six percent of HAM’s associates gave more than $1.4 million during their September campaign to support United Way organizations throughout Ohio.

To date, United Way of Logan County’s 2016 fall campaign has raised $679,729, or 91 percent of its $750,000 goal. It’s the mission of United Way of Logan County to facilitate successful agency partnerships that enable a safe, healthy, and caring community. More than just a fundraiser, United Way collaborates with businesses, non-profits, government, and civic organizations to help meet the social service needs of the community.
