A regional liaison for the Secretary of State’s Office will be available to meet with constituents 1-3 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Logan County Public Library, 220 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. In addition to making voter registration forms and election information available, the liaison can answer questions and distribute materials about the other functions of the office such as the business services division and initiatives including the Ohio Business Profile and Military Ready-to-Vote program.

On Friday, Nov. 11, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., Riverside High School will be hosting a ZUMBA-thon. Cost is $5 per person and all proceeds go toward purchasing winter coats for Riverside students in need. A donation jar will also be available for anyone interested in contributing extra for the cause. Everyone is welcome. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.

A Woodstock Lions Club Fish Fry will be held at 2235 N. state Route 559, Woodstock, the Woodstock Lions Clubhouse, 4-6:30 p.m. Nov. 12.

Miami Grange in DeGraff will host a pancake-sausage breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. The cost is $6 for adults and $2.50 for children. This will be the final pancake breakfast for 2016.

The Logan County Art League welcomes people to do their Christmas shopping at the 2016 Winter Art Faire in the Bellefontaine High School cafeteria 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 5 and noon-4 p.m. Nov. 6.

Cookies and Canvas Night at The Grove in West Liberty is scheduled for Nov. 11, 6-8 p.m. Follow along with an artist as she guides participants through this Block O painting. No experience needed. Mt. Tabor Church of God will hold a Revival Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 15, through Sunday, Nov. 20. The public is invited. Services will be held Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. The remainder of the Revival services will be held nightly at 7 p.m. During each service, the church choir sings and evangelist Larry Parker of Hamilton, Ohio delivers a message. The Bellefontaine Rotary Club will hold a Scholarship Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Cafe. The cost is $7 per person; free for children 5 years old and younger.

The village of Quincy rescheduled council meetings for November. The normal first and third Tuesdays of the month were changed to the second and fourth Tuesdays. The new dates are Nov. 8 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers.

Community Action Organization, in partnership with the IRS, will offer volunteer tax preparation services in Logan County at multiple locations. Volunteers will be taught to prepare tax returns for low- to moderate-income families in their communities. The IRS sponsors the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly programs. Volunteers for those programs prepared 3.7 million tax returns this past filing season. Volunteers work a few hours a week, usually from mid-January through the end of the tax filing season in April. No prior experience is required. Women who have experienced infertility or miscarriage, are undergoing fertility treatments, or are considering adoption are invited to a monthly support group that meets at Memorial Hospital. HOPE, an independent, peer-led, female-only support group provides an opportunity to share information, discuss sensitive issues, or just listen to others. Meetings are confidential, unbiased and planned to provide support and comfort. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. in Meeting Room E at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave. in Marysville (use entrance E). The Food Pantry of Wake Up the World Ministries is open the last Friday of each month from 4 to 8 p.m. to individuals and families in Logan County needing food and who qualify under the Second Harvest Food Bank criteria.The church is in downtown Bellefontaine on the corner of East Columbus Avenue and Madriver Street, across Columbus Avenue from the Huntington Bank. Qualified individuals and families can secure three days of food, including fresh veggies, meats and canned goods, by entering the church’s side entrance on Madriver Street. West Liberty United Methodist Church is offering Grief Support through a program called GriefShare, a weekly seminar and support group designed to help people rebuild their lives after losing a loved one, offering help, encouragement and hope. Two session times are offered: Mondays at 10 a.m. starting Aug. 29, or Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. starting Aug. 30. There is a $5 registration fee. This support group will meet at the church, 202 W. The Logan County Art League holds an Open Studio 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month so people can bring in their visual arts projects to work on among like-minded artists. Try new things, gain direction, get encouragement and explore. It will be a safe place to share ideas and get inspiration. It is open to anyone in the arts, at any level, and in any media. There will be several experienced artists on hand to help, so beginners are welcome. Just bring your project and your supplies and join us. There is no cost.
