If I were principal for a day: I would have an all day dodgeball tournament and lunch would be catered by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Favorite school memory: My favorite school memory is making it to the state playoffs for the first time in school history.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My parents are an inspiration for loving me and teaching everything about life. My grandparents as well, for supporting me at every event. My brother, for being a great friend. And finally, all of my coaches and teammates for pushing me to be my best at all times.

Lately I’ve been reading: Above the Line by Urban Meyer

My advice to parents: My advice is to always support your kids in everything they do. It may not seem like it, but your kids appreciate your support. It is the best feeling in the world.

My biggest regret: I have none.

Next year I will be: Attending an undecided university and playing baseball while studying Sports Management.

Emma Powers

School Activities and Awards: Cheerleading, Choir, Meistersingers, Musical, Track, National Honor Society, Key Club, SADD, Class President, Choir President, Vocal Jazz, CBC Scholar Athlete, Honor Roll, Outstanding Choir Student and OMEA Solo and Ensemble

If I were principal for a day: I would have everyone come in at 10 am for a pancake breakfast and then everyone could go back home.

Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is being announced as the Homecoming Queen at our district-wide pep rally.

People who have been an inspiration to me: I am inspired by my grandparents, my brother, my dad and especially my wonderful mom.

Lately I’ve been reading: The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

My advice to parents: Enjoy family time with your kids because it goes by too fast.

My biggest regret: I regret not taking art courses throughout high school.

Next year: I hope to be starting my first year at a 4-year college studying Architecture.
