Trisha Seckel, the 2016 Ohio FFA Vice President at Large, visited the Riverside FFA Chapter. She spoke to Riverside FFA members about personal growth, leadership development in overcoming life’s challenges and shared possible opportunities in the FFA with Riverside FFA members. The leadership theme that she presented to Riverside FFA students was “adaptability and breaking through” life’s challenges. Students were given scenarios for individuals and their teams to overcome, then different challenges were added to each scenario to see how students would adapt and break through these obstacles.

Students wrote down their ideas, goals, and challenges that they had adapt to and break through from various activities. Riverside FFA members really enjoyed meeting her and sharing ideas so they can improve their personal leadership abilities and team building skills in order to adapt and break through life’s challenges.
