West Liberty area residents gathered for a good time and to raise funds for the West Liberty Fireworks on Friday, June 17. Vendors were set up for West Liberty Street Markets, with a Patriotic Decorating Contest for village businesses and a raffle. Peoples Savings and Loan provided food and drinks throughout the day. Live entertainment was provided by BJ and Billie Entertainment from Belle Center, with Rick Eaton, sponsored by Rick’s Home Improvement. Daniel Dye and the Miller Road Band was at The Grove along with Willie’s BBQ Food Truck. To round out the evening, Bingo was enjoyed by a full house at Liberty Gathering Place. On Saturday, June 25th West Liberty Fireworks will be held at Lions Club Ball Park.
