Light rain did not stop avid garage sale enthusiasts from attending the yearly Community Fire Sale on Saturday, May 21. West Liberty was bustling with folks, young and old alike, going from sale to sale looking for bargains. They came from far and wide to browse, eat from local restaurants or food trucks, and visit with friends and family they saw along the way.

The West Liberty Business Association provided maps of available parking, portajohns and eating establishments. As the saying goes, “One man’s junk is another man’s treasures.”
