Girls State is a fast-paced program of mock government representing city, county, and state levels. The main objective is to train young women completing their junior year in high school in the duties, rights and privileges of citizenship by providing attendees the opportunity to actively participate in a democratic form of government.
Alternates selected are Morgan Evilsizor and Macy Marshfield. This year’s session begins June 12th and concludes June 18th. To learn more about Buckeye Girls State, check out www.buckeyegirlsstate.org.
