The West Liberty Lions will have a fish fry 4:30-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the main shelter house in The Lions Park. The event supports Lions projects in the area. There also will be a car show, girls fast pitch tournament and, at dusk, fireworks.

Quincy Kids Lunch Bunch for children and high school youths of the area will have free lunch and fun activities on noon each Friday until school starts at Quincy United Methodist Church, 108 Main St., Quincy.

The Logan County Art League holds an Open Studio 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month so people can bring in their visual arts projects to work on among like-minded artists. Try new things, gain direction, get encouragement and explore. It will be a safe place to share ideas and get inspiration. It is open to anyone in the arts, at any level, and in any media. There will be several experienced artists on hand to help, so beginners are welcome. Just bring your project and your supplies and join us. There is no cost.

Logan/Champaign Counties Survivor of Suicide (SOS) Support Group for those bereaved by suicide will meet 6:30-8 p.m. the 2nd Thursday of each month at the MHDAS Board, 123 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, with topics and events planned for each month.
