Indian Lake Elementary School second graders recently presented the mini-musical E-I-E-I Oops! The stage show in the high school auditorium took viewers through a series of barnyard shenanigans and featured all the classic farm characters like Old MacDonald, the Farmer in the Dell and animals of all kinds.

The pigs “hammed it up” in their sty, the lost sheep finally found Bo Beep and the “cute chicks” and the rooster helped the cow feel like moo-ing again.

The moral of the story was to be kind to others.

The musical for young voices was written by John Jacobson and John Higgins. The show was directed by ILES music teacher Tracey Notestine.
