During the March 15 primary, some Indian Lake High School seniors again served as poll workers. Jessica Grothaus helped out in Washington Township South while Kaci Kidder assisted in Russells Point.
Both students were recruited through recent outreach efforts from the Logan County Board of Elections to interest high school students in the elections process. The students completed the local poll worker training sessions and online training through the Ohio Secretary of State’s website. They were inserted into teams of experienced poll workers.
Kidder is a third generation poll worker. Her mother, Jaci Ullom, works in the Stokes Southeast precinct and her grandmother, Diana Broyles, works in McArthur Township.
