Numerous experts from a wide range of backgrounds will present information on an array of topics related to the Mad River as a unique, important natural resource. The Huntsville Presbyterian Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26, at 1 p.m. at the Huntsville Lions Park. There will be separate hunts for younger and older children. The Easter Bunny will make a visit and prizes will be awarded. Cookies and punch will be available.

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is hosting “It’s Your Story Tell It” Spring Break Day Camp for girls in grades K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades who are not currently involved in Girls Scouts. This program teaches about different cultures, fashion and having fun. The camp in Monday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Logan County History Center, 521 E. Columbus Ave., Bellefontaine. The registration fee is $15 and financial assistance is available. Pre-registration is necessary to ensure a spot. The Logan County Health District announced that an Adult Dental Clinic for Logan County residents over 19 years of age will be provided 8 a.m.-2 p.m. May 11 at Robson Family Dentistry, 216 E. Sandusky Ave., Bellefontaine. Checkups will include an exam, cleaning and x-rays. Emergency care will not be provided, and pain prescriptions will not be written. For appointments, call 937-651-6197. Kirkmont Back To Basics Day is set for 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Kirkmont Center of Zanefield. Family members of all ages are welcome to Kirkmont’s 278 acres of wooded countryside for a day of back-to-basics interpretation and entertainment. The day will include guided hikes, self-led hiking and exploring, interpretive presentations, arts-and-crafts, a scavenger hunt, and an appearance from Creek Stewart of Willow Haven outdoors, host of The Weather Channel’s Fat Guys in the Woods and consultant for Backpacker Magazine. Newell St., offers Grief Support through a program called GriefShare, a weekly seminar and support group designed to help rebuild lives after losing a loved one, offering help, encouragement and hope. Indian Lake Elementary School second graders will present the mini-musical E-I-E-I Oops! on Thursday, March 17, at 7 p.m. in the Indian Lake High School auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The show is free and open to the public. Donations to the Indian Lake Music Department will be accepted. E-I-E-I Oops! takes us through a series of barnyard shenanigans. The musical for young voices was written by John Jacobson and John Higgins. The show is directed by ILES music teacher Tracey Notestine.

Indian Lake Elementary School kindergarten registration for students entering kindergarten in the fall of 2016 will be on Wednesday, March 16, Thursday, March 17, and Friday, March 18. The second annual Indian Lake fourth, fifth and sixth grade Boys Basketball Tournament will be held March 18-20, at the Indian Lake High School, Middle School and Elementary School gymnasiums, 6210 N. state Route 235, Lewistown, OH 43333. Tournament spots are on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $175 per team, with three games guaranteed. Only school teams please, no all-star or AAU teams. The Logan County Art League holds an Open Studio 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month so people can bring in their visual arts projects to work on among like-minded artists. Try new things, gain direction, get encouragement and explore. It will be a safe place to share ideas and get inspiration. It is open to anyone in the arts, at any level, and in any media. There will be several experienced artists on hand to help, so beginners are welcome. Just bring your project and your supplies and join us. There is no cost.

Logan/Champaign Counties Survivor of Suicide (SOS) Support Group for those bereaved by suicide will meet 6:30-8 p.m. the 2nd Thursday of each month at the MHDAS Board, 123 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, with topics and events planned for each month.

The Indian Lake United Christian Services Food Pantry at the Municipal Building, 433 state Route 708, Russells Point, offers food assistance to all residents of the Indian Lake School District on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month. The Food Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers and operates solely with donated funds and food.

The Logan County Health District Office, 310 S. Main St., Bellefontaine, is open 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30 to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday; and 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday. Hours have been reduced due to budget cuts. WIC hours are not affected. For more information, call 937-651-6186.

Flu shots for all ages are available 9-11 a.m. each Thursday and 2-6 p.m. the first and Thursday of each month. Most insurances are accepted. Call 937-651-6186 to register.

The Logan County WIC has monthly breastfeeding classes at the Logan County Health District office. The classes are open to the public; you do not need to be on WIC to participate. The class is designed for anyone thinking about breastfeeding to help determine the right choice for themselves and their baby. For more information call the health district at 937-651-6191.

TB testing is done 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4 p.m.on Mondays and Tuesdays. The charge is $20 cash, or check with ID.
