Several pieces of artwork created by Indian Lake Elementary and Middle School students are hanging in important downtown Columbus venues.

Artwork from first grader Nicholas Beair, first grader Tyler Tidwell, fourth grader KaiLea Miller, fifth grader Paige Mefford, sixth grader Laura Partington and seventh grader Kayla Roberts were chosen for the Central Region Student Art Show held at the Rhodes State Tower Building.

Third grader Czar Dickson’s and 8th grader Shianna Miller’s pieces are featured at the Youth Art Month Exhibition at the downtown STRS Building. This show is sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association.

Second grader Mara Bihn’s and 8th grader Hayli Hamilton’s works are at the Young People’s Art Exhibition at the downtown Rhodes State Tower Building, also sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association.

The elementary students are instructed by ILES Art Teacher Terry Nelson. The Middle School students are instructed by ILMS Art Teacher Rebecca Dotson. A recent reception honored all the students chosen for these art shows. The pieces will all remain on display through the end of March.
