Indian Lake to stage ‘The Little Mermaid’

The Indian Lake High School Music Department will present Disney’s The Little Mermaid on Friday, March 4, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 5, at 2 and 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Admission is $8 per seat; all seats reserved. Tickets may be obtained beginning Feb. 22 by calling 686‐7645 (messages only) or at ilhsmusical@gmail.com. They may also be purchased at the box office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. or on Wednesday or Friday between noon and 4 p.m.

This production of the Disney adaptation of the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale features seniors Kim Garrison as Ariel, Michael Mallory as Prince Eric, and Sarah Wahl as Ursula. Other supporting characters are Sebastien (James Toda), Skuttle (Justin Young), Flounder (Colin Powers), King Triton (Gabe Reichert), Flotsam (Blake Wright), Jetsam (Jacob Zarnosky), Grimsby (Tylor Burt) and Chef Louis( Cameron Daniels), as well as Ariel’s sisters played by Isabella Barnes, Belle Elliott, Megan Huffman, Hannah Kilgore, Rachel Kimmel and Emma Powers.

The musical is directed by Joyce King, with choreography by Becky Taylor, orchestra by Jason Fauley, set by Ed Rogers, and costumes created by Sarah Dague and Suzanne Headley.
