The Force is strong with Matt Wildermuth and Jacob Hawk of Bellefontaine. They were the recipients of tickets to see the latest Star Wars movie at the Netgain Premiere screening at Bellefontaine Cinema 8. The tickets were donated to the Logan County Board of DD by a member of the F.A.N.s (Friends, Allies and Neighbors) network. A F.A.N. is a network of people committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities who live and work in Logan County. Wildermuth and Hawk won the coveted prize for their advocacy efforts. Both men were trained to be Ohio Leaders. They take their responsibilities seriously. Matt and Jacob advocate for themselves and others and are positive members of the Logan County community.

The next Ohio Leader training is being held at the Hilliker YMCA 4-8 p.m. Jan. 27-29 and is open to the public. The cost of training is being waived through sponsorship by the Hilliker Y, Ohio Leader Ty Ferguson, and the Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Please contact Kelli Bader at 937-292-3086 to register.
