On Dec. 3 at Union Station in Bellefontaine, the Calvary Christian Junior High Boys Basketball Team took on the boys from Lima Temple Christian School. The Spartans from CCS took an early 8-3 lead and led throughout the game to come out on top 26-16. Led by Garrett Reinhard with 10 points and 11 rebounds and both Thomas Rorrer and Chris Myers putting in six points, but the Spartans defense was really the star of the game, shutting down Lima Temple team to only eight points in the first half.

The Spartans move to 2-0 on the season and look forward to a week of practice before they continue their season on Dec. 12 against Grand Lake Christian School.
