Riverside survived a 20-point third quarter outburst by Indian Lake and eventually held off host Indian Lake, 42-39, in non-league girls basketball action Nov. 23. Sophomore Marissa Davis (shown here scoring a basket), in only her second game as a high-school basketball player, scored 17 points and hauled in 11 rebounds in the win, while Aubrey Stephens had nine points and five boards. Caylee Wurster paced the Laker effort with 17 points, 14 of which came in the second half, and Katelyn Hogan netted 13 points in the loss. Riverside is now 1-1 on the years, while Indian Lake falls to 0-2.
