On Oct. 22, pool play ended with the top four Jr High soccer teams emerging to play in the Championship game and the 3rd place game next week. LCS Elite secured their back to back trip to the Championship game by beating Ben Logan Black 13-0 for their 11th straight win. Nine different players scored as LCS Elite seems to be clicking on all cylinders at the right time. Austin Parker, Derek Cline, Reid Vance and Cole Overbey each scored twice, while Macie Robinson, Chloe Burba, Kyleigh Huffer, Corbin Knief and Ethan Parker had a goal each. Overbey added two assists, while Robinson, Knief and Ashlyn Shaner had one assist each. Shaner and Overbey recorded the shutout as keepers.

LCS Elite will try to avenge two of their three season losses by taking on Bellefontaine in the Championship game Oct. 26 at Ben Logan High School’s soccer stadium at 6 p.m. West Liberty 1 will play Calvary Christian on Tuesday, October 27 at 6:00 PM at Benjamin Logan for 3rd place. All trophies were donated this year by T&A Enterprises of Lewistown.
