The ILHS Junior Class is holding the second annual Quarter Auction on Thrusday, Dec. 3, in the Auxiliary Gym. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the bidding begins at 6 p.m. You may enter by the Superintendent’s Office or the Auditorium. Tickets are $10 and a limit of 200 will be sold. Miami Grange in DeGraff hosts a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. The cost is $6 for adults and $2.50 for children. This will be the final pancake breakfast for 2015. They will begin again in March 2016. Thank you for your continued support and see you in the Spring.

Mt. Tabor Church of God will hold a Revival Meeting Wednesday, Nov. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 22. The public is invited. Services will be held Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. The remainder of the revival services will be held nightly at 7 p.m. During each service, the church choir sings and evangelist Brian Shump delivers a message. He is the pastor of the Chase Church of God near Huntsville, Alabama. Mt. Tabor Church of God is located east of the intersection of SR 235 and CR 13, 5.5 miles north of DeGraff. Regional liaisons for the Secretary of State’s office will be in 28 counties around Ohio, including Logan County. All are welcome 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 20 at the Logan County Knowlton Library, 220 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. The purpose of open office hours is to give local residents an opportunity to learn more about, and stay connected with, the Secretary of State’s office in an informal and accessible setting. In addition to making voter registration forms and election information available, regional representatives will be on hand to answer questions and distribute materials to those interested in learning more about the other functions of the office such as the business services division and initiatives including the Ohio Business Profile and Military Ready-to-Vote program.

The ILHS SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Chapter is sponsoring a district-wide blood drive on Wednesday, Nov. 18. This Community Blood Center drive is open to students, IL staff members and the community from 8 a.m. to noon in the ILHS Auxiliary Gym. Students must be 18 years of age to donate. The West Liberty United Methodist Church, 202 W. Newell St., will host GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays, a one-evening seminar for people facing the holidays after the loss of a loved one. This will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at the church. The event is designed to provide ways to navigate through the holidays and will give practical tips, words of strength and encouragement, and suggestions to help you face and survive the unique stresses of the holiday season. West Liberty United Methodist Church offers Grief Support through a program called GriefShare, a weekly seminar and support group designed to help rebuild life after losing a loved one. The two session times offered are 10 a.m. Mondays starting Aug. 31 or 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting Sept. 1. There is a $5 registration fee. The group meets at the church, 202 W. Flu shots are available at the Logan County Health District during regular immunization clinics. These clinics are held every Thursday morning from 9-11 a.m. In addition on the first and third Thursday of the month there are late clinics available from 2-6 p.m.

The Logan County Art League holds an Open Studio 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month so people can bring in their visual arts projects to work on among like-minded artists. Try new things, gain direction, get encouragement and explore. It will be a safe place to share ideas and get inspiration. It is open to anyone in the arts, at any level, and in any media. There will be several experienced artists on hand to help, so beginners are welcome. Just bring your project and your supplies and join us. There is no cost.

Logan/Champaign Counties Survivor of Suicide (SOS) Support Group for those bereaved by suicide will meet 6:30-8 p.m. the 2nd Thursday of each month at the MHDAS Board, 123 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, with topics and events planned for each month.

The Indian Lake United Christian Services Food Pantry at the Municipal Building, 433 state Route 708, Russells Point, offers food assistance to all residents of the Indian Lake School District on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month. The Food Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers and operates solely with donated funds and food.
