Indian Lake National Honor Society members tapped 28 potential inductees during a ceremony Oct. 20. Current members explained the qualities of Scholarship, Character, Leadership and Service that a student must exemplify to be considered for the society. Then they weaved their way through the crowded auditorium to tap unsuspecting juniors and seniors one by one. Beyond having a 3.3 grade point average, Indian Lake students must be involved in music, sports, service clubs or other activities to be considered, plus complete an application and essay. Teachers, other instructors and club advisors make the final selections. This year’s inductees are Lindsey Huffman (Jr), Caylee Wurster (Sr) Megan Huffman (Jr), Kati Bowsher (Jr), Kennedy Wallbrown (Jr), Tiffany Zeigler (Jr), April Whitcher (Sr), Colton Wilson (Sr), Dalton Faler (Jr) Emma Powers (Jr), Nate Kaffenbarger (Jr), Rachel Kimmel (Jr) Kelson Stidam (Jr), Gabe Reichert (Jr), Savannah Kerns (Jr), Macy Harshfield (Jr), Morgan Evilsizor (Jr), Benji Dearwester (Sr), Dylan Albright (Jr), Mitch Schwieterman (Jr), Tyler Reprogle (Jr), Alex Jacobs (Jr), Andrew Hulbert (Jr), Parker Grothaus (Jr), Tyler Huffer (Jr) Derek Allison (Jr), Nick Crockett (Jr) and Dylan Beltz (Sr).
