Sigler takes position at The Citadel Academy

Tracey Honeycutt Sigler, daughter of Glenn and Kim Honeycutt of Indian Lake and Jackie Honeycutt of Columbus, announced she will be leaving Northern Kentucky University to take a position at The Citadel Academy in Charleston, South Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree and MBA from Bowling Green State University and later attended North Carolina University’s three-year doctoral program in Organizational Business Behavior to receive her Ph.D. Her first college position was at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. She was there three years prior to taking the NKU position. She has been at NKU nine years and recently became the Business Department Chair.

The Citadel Academy is located on the beautiful Ashley River in Charleston, just as it empties into the Atlantic Ocean. The Academy was originally established in 1842 as a military school. Today, approximately 35% of the 4,000 students attending are commissioned into one of five military disciplines. Among other choices, students can major in engineering, computer science, science, math, cyber security, business administration, chemistry, pre-med and history. The curriculum is continually expanding. The Academy ranks atop the board in educational excellence with other top universities throughout the country.
