Working toward accessible playground equipment


The Logan County Braves Special Olympics Softball team placed 2nd at The South Sectional Tournament at Art Van Atta Park on Aug. 26. There will be a Braves Athletes, Staff & Community Unified Softball game on Thursday, Sept. 14, 5:30-7 p.m. at Southview Park. The public is invited to attend and cheer on the Braves Unified Teams and support The Dare to Be Aware Club and the Bellefontaine Parks and Recreation Department in their efforts to bring accessible playground equipment in Logan County parks. RTC Job Club will be providing concessions and donations will be accepted at the concession stand also. Proceeds will go toward the Bellefontaine Parks and Recreation Department project for Handicap accessible playground equipment in Logan County.
