Retired teachers gather for music and history

Logan County Retired Teachers met in August at Camp Willson for a dinner program and meeting. Leanna George and Elaine Newcomber played several selections on their harps. They also educated the group on their instruments and answered questions. Wayne Wickerham presented a program on Logan County churches to the group.

A silent auction was held to benefit the scholarship fund. President Emerson Brown held the meeting and the new state representative, Betty Jo (BJ) Woodruff, was introduced. Ms Woodruff plans to attend our future meetings. Any retired educator is invited to our next meeting on October 24th. For more information please call Emerson Brown at 937 404 9453. Information can also be found on Facebook under Logan County Retired Teachers.
