The Logan County Art League will host nationally known Ohio watercolorist Christopher Leeper for a four-day watercolor/acrylic workshop. Leeper is one of Ohio’s foremost watercolor teachers and brings enthusiasm, humor and energy to his classes, making painting a fun and exciting experience. Each day there will be demonstrations and lots of one-on-one instruction. This workshop will focus on the process of creating a painting and developing a plan for success. The importance of drawing, design, and brushwork will be emphasized. Improving color mixing and how to get dynamic value relationships will be a goal.
Leeper will present his workshop at the 1st Presbyterian Church, 117 N. Main St., in Bellefontaine on Sept.19-22. The workshop is for beginners through advanced level students. The cost of the workshop is $325.00.
