Bluegrass Jam, Thursday, June 22 @ 7:00 p.m. & Flying Pepper Food Truck @ 5PM The Grove’s second bluegrass jam will be an informal event to gather and enjoy one another’s company around bluegrass music. Whether you’re coming to pick and participate yourself or you just want to listen and socialize, come by and we’ll have a good time. Festivities begin around seven and will cease when we get tired of picking. The Flying Pepper Food Truck will be here starting at 5:00 for to you to grab some delicious dinner before or during the Jam.
Tuesday, June 27, “Understanding Medicare” Seminar @ 6:30 – 7:30PM This seminar is presented by Everence and seeks to educate the public on options in Medicare and answer questions you may have.
Tai Chi – Wednesdays @ 4:00 PM (3:30 p.m. on 6-21) – Tai chi is a Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation while also strengthening the cardiovascular and immune systems. It is an excellent form of exercise for seniors, to help with strength and balance, stress relief and is both an aerobic and weight bearing exercise.
Itty Bitty Artists –Fridays, June 23 & 30 @ 10:00AM – Itty Bitty Artists is a weekly play based group for 1-4 year olds held on Fridays from 10:00-10:45 A.M. It is designed to provide your little ones with a fun and safe learning environment. Every week we will have a different theme related play time. See website for donation needs.
