Forty Troop Banners are being displayed on Detroit Street in West Liberty from one end to the other. Due to the wonderful response received, the Bicentennial Celebration Committee is once again taking orders. The deadline for accepting orders is Friday, June 9.

For $85, the purchaser receives a 24-inch by 36-inch banner to be displayed in West Liberty until after Veterans Day in November. You also get two baby banners of 12” x 18” to display in your yard. Once your banner is up you can pick up baby banners at the Town Hall.

Take the completed application, a good picture of your soldier, past or present, and a check made out to the WL Bicentennial Celebration to the Town Hall. Your picture will be scanned so you can take it with you when you are done.

The Troop Banners coincide with the upcoming West Liberty Bicentennial Celebration on July 6-9. They are sponsored by the WL Bicentennial Celebration Committee. For more information, the application form and for the WLBC Schedule of events, go to www.westliberty200.com.
