The Grove: A Place for Community
Middle School and High School Youth Event – Sunday, May 7 @ 5-7PM– Come on out to the Grove for a fun evening of food, games, and fellowship. Meet new people, make new friends, and enjoy some time to just be you! Ping-pong, wii, cards and board games, sidewalk chalk, or just chill and talk! Also, free pizza! Parents, you are welcome to hang out too and get to know some of the volunteers. See you then!
Come Try Girl Scouts – Tuesdays, May 2 and 16 and Wednesdays., May 31 and June 7 @ 5:30-7:00PM Have you ever wanted to give Girl Scouts a try or wondered what they’re all about? Here’s your chance to come explore by attending an open meeting so you can see if you and your child might be interested! Just come with an open mind and have a good time.
Tai Chi – Wednesdays @ 4:00 PM (3:30 p.m. on 5-24) – Tai chi is a Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation while also strengthening the cardiovascular and immune systems. It is an excellent form of exercise for seniors, to help with strength and balance, stress relief and is both an aerobic and weight bearing exercise.
Itty Bitty Artists –Fridays @ 10:00AM – Itty Bitty Artists is a weekly play based group for 1-4 year olds held on Fridays from 10:00-10:45 A.M. It is designed to provide your little ones with a fun and safe learning environment. Every week we will have a different theme related play time. See website for donation needs.
Community Bible Study – Thursdays @ 6PM – Community Adult Bible Study going through the Gospel of John. This will be an interactive, discussion-based study for people of all levels and understanding of Scripture. Men and women welcomed!
Lego Club – Saturday, May 20 @ 11AM Come join us for a morning of creativity and fun, where your child will have the chance to use his or her imagination, develop skills and learn, while building Lego projects alongside peers. Materials are provided. Please pre-register by phone or online.
Little Picassos Art Club, Wednesday, May 17 @ 5:30-7:30PM For youth ages 8-13, Art Club is once a month and we complete a project from start to finish!
