Members of United Way of Logan County are invited to the organization’s 2017 Annual Meeting to vote on recommended amendments to the nonprofit’s Code of Regulations and new trustees. The meeting will occur on Tuesday, April 25, at 4 p.m. at the United Way office, 130 S. Main St., Suite 109, Bellefontaine. Perennial Swap at the Knowlton Library Saturday, May 13 at 11:05 a.m. Please have items labeled and at the parking north of the Library at 11 a.m. If raining the swap will be held in the AcuSport Community Room inside the library. Perennial are not limited to flowers and participants may swap for equal numbers of items brought.

The April Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at Miami Grange in DeGraff has been changed from Saturday, April 15, to Saturday, April 22. It will be held from 7:30 to 11 a.m. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. There will also be a plant sale that day to benefit Logan County Vets to DC.

Head Start is enrolling students for fall. Head Start is an early childhood development program for low-income children at no cost. This fall, full-day services (six hours, five days a week) will be available at Indian Lake Elementary, Riverside schools, and Benjamin Logan Elementary School. There is also an option for home-based learning with staff visiting families for 1.5 hours each week and periodic group socializations.

Council on Rural Services provides education and support services through Kids Learning Place, Head Start, Early Head Start, Gateway Youth Programs, Achievement Center for Educational Success (ACES) and Community Connectors in their nine county service area.

Russells Point Church of God will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 15 at 2 p.m. for ages 2-12. Bring your own basket or bag.

The church will have worship services for Easter on April 16 at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m.

The church will also host family skate night at the Indian Lake Rollarena on April 24 from 6-8:30 p.m. Admission is free, but skate rental is $2. Door prizes will be available.

The Bellefontaine office of the Ohio Auto Club hosts AAA’s Senior Driver Improvement Course. The two-day course is from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, and Tuesday, April 25, in Foundation Hall at Green Hills Community, 6557 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty. Classes are designed to help mature drivers sharpen driving skills, including learning to adjust for slower reflexes, weaker vision and other changes that can impact driving. Women who have experienced infertility or miscarriage, are undergoing fertility treatments, or are considering adoption are invited to a monthly support group that meets at Memorial Hospital. HOPE, an independent, peer-led, female-only support group provides an opportunity to share information, discuss sensitive issues, or just listen to others. Meetings are confidential, unbiased and planned to provide support and comfort. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. in Meeting Room E at Memorial Hospital, 500 London Ave. in Marysville (use entrance E). The Food Pantry of Wake Up the World Ministries is open the last Friday of each month from 4 to 8 p.m. to individuals and families in Logan County needing food and who qualify under the Second Harvest Food Bank criteria.The church is in downtown Bellefontaine on the corner of East Columbus Avenue and Madriver Street, across Columbus Avenue from the Huntington Bank. Qualified individuals and families can secure three days of food, including fresh veggies, meats and canned goods, by entering the church’s side entrance on Madriver Street. Overeaters Anonymous meets at 10 a.m. each Monday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1505 S. Main St., in Bellefontaine. This meeting is open to anyone who wants to stop eating compulsively. The Logan County Art League holds an Open Studio 7-9 p.m. on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month so people can bring in their visual arts projects to work on among like-minded artists. Try new things, gain direction, get encouragement and explore. It will be a safe place to share ideas and get inspiration. It is open to anyone in the arts, at any level, and in any media. There will be several experienced artists on hand to help, so beginners are welcome. Just bring your project and your supplies and join us. There is no cost.

Logan/Champaign Counties Survivor of Suicide (SOS) Support Group for those bereaved by suicide will meet 6:30-8 p.m. the 2nd Thursday of each month at the MHDAS Board, 123 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, with topics and events planned for each month.

The Indian Lake United Christian Services Food Pantry at the Municipal Building, 433 state Route 708, Russells Point, offers food assistance to all residents of the Indian Lake School District on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month. The Food Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers and operates solely with donated funds and food.

Flu shots are offered during regular business hours: Weekdays 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4 p.m.; and Fridays 8:30 a.m.-noon.

TB testing is done 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4 p.m.on Mondays and Tuesdays. The charge is $20 cash, or check with ID.
