International Friendship Center of Logan County seeks interpreters

Submitted story

The International Friendship Center of Logan County was founded 25 years ago to assist people relocating to the area who were challenged by the English language. The group typically served the Japanese-speaking population here to assist and train for the Honda plant and their affiliates. In 25 years, the focus of the organization changed. There are not as many Japanese families living in the area, but the group called upon for interpreters of many languages.

The current list of interpreters is out of date and the group is seeking residents who have a command of a second language. If you would like to be placed on the list as an interpreter of any language, please contact Pat Roby at 937-210-0469 or email proby51@gmail.com.
